Aunt Lee

AUNT LEE
My whole life has changed since you have been gone. Nothing is the same and it never will be again. The thought of you makes me want to cry. You were everything to me. It still feels like your here. Watching over me, I know you are. We had a great relationship with one another and I loved you so much. Around this time last year you got sick. It broke my heart so much to see you in pain. After a while you started getting better. You soon returned to the hospital after because you were sick again. After that we knew you didn't have much time left. I spent as much time with you as possible. A while later you began to get better, you were able to respond to us. I then thought everything was going to be okay. Finally on May 29th EVERYTHING went wrong. Early that morning I had a feeling something was happening. During testing for our EOG I felt uneasy about everything. I tried to shake the feeling. At about one o'clock I was called to the office for dismissal. Soon my mom walked in with a sad look on her face. I got very nervous. I started asking so many questions and she dodged them all. So I finally said what I thought she was afraid too. "Aunt Lee died?" I spoke. She looked at me and said yes. I tried to run but she grabbed me. At that very moment I felt like everything was just wrong. I started crying and screaming. It didn't feel real at all. To this very day i still cry and think why did this happen. I know everything happens for a reason so I have to let let go and realize God did what was best for her. Leo Hillman Leo F.
