My story

My story!!!!!!!
We were all scared, sirens flashing, people screaming and dying everywhere. We had a lot of people to the undead, yet I knew had to do everything I could to protect my family. I hated the undead ever since they took my dad’s life when I was little, & since that day happened, I swore I would do everything to protect my family, just like what my father would have done.
So Everyday my mom Angela , my little sister Alexis, my little bro Mike, and myself, Jose would go from store to store, looking for food, supplies, and weapons. And everyday I would have to keep lookout, to keep us safe while my family slept, but every day we’d have to find a new place to sleep, so they wouldn’t find us.
One day we stopped at another abandoned store for food, when me and Mike entered, we grabbed bread, water, and other types of food. We stayed for another 20 minutes looking for food when I accidentally tripped on a big piece of glass, causing a loud echo inside.I got back up frightened, thinking someone would pop out any minute.Seconds later, we hear moaning. We heard mumbling everywhere and echoes that grew louder, louder, louder, and even louder!
The first thing I saw was a one armed zombie that was being followed by tons more. The second we saw them we ran. I go running out of the store, with mike a few paces behind me. There we see my mom and my sis, both with frightened, scared faces. Then I see an abandoned RV that looked like it still worked, and with one loud voice, I yell: “get into the RV now!!!! Soon we were all running for our lives.
When we all got to the RV, I pry the door open, then close it behind me when we all entered. When I got to the drivers seat, I was lucky to see the key inside the keyhole. I turn the key once, nothing. I turn the key again, nothing. Everything was happening so fast, my hands trembling, sweat pouring down my face. I knew every second we were in here, they would get closer, so with one last turn, the RV began to vibrate. Then with a strong force, I stomp on the gas pedal, leaving them behind. We left before they could even lay a finger on us . Then we scanned the RV, looking for useful resources. We were so happy. We lived for another day.

Our Independence Day

The tensions were rising, it was the final play of the game. I could feel like my heart was going to pound out of my chest. As I snapped the ball it seemed like everything went into slow motion. I looked right and saw my star receiver wide open in the end zone, as soon as I tried to shift my arm forward to throw the ball...it slipped. As I turned to give chase it was already too late, the other team recovered and just like that the game was over. We lost state championship and it was all because of me. After the game I was a lost for words, I still couldn't believe what just happened. When my girlfriend came to pick me up, she tried to cheer me up but there was no point in even trying. We went to a pizza restruant where the team usually went after every game. When I walked In I was surprised to see everyone trying to cheer me up, which actually really helped me. Of course all the regular people we there like my closest friends, Michael and josh, my girlfriends sister but basically everyone from the team. But there was one surprise I couldn't believe, my brother Jacob was back from being stationed in Iraq. When we saw each other , we quickly did our handshake. After about an hour of listening to jacob's dangerous missions, the power just shut off and when we looked out of the windows we learned that the whole towns power was also shut off. It was pretty unusual but at the time we didn't really pay attention. So I caught a ride home with Jacob. Nobody had any idea of what was about to come. The next morning I woke up from the shaking of the house and I quickly woke up Jacob. We rushed outside to see what was all the noise and shaking was about. When I looked up I couldn't believe my eyes, it was like I was in the middle of the Normandy invasion. Huge planes filled the clear blue sky with paratroopers jumping from them, black smoke was exploding from the cannons of anti-aircraft guns. One of the planes got hit and came falling toward us, we took cover behind Jacob's truck right before one of the wings exploded into our neighbors house. We both had one thing on our mind and that was to find dad. Since our dad was police chief, he was out all night trying to find out why the power went out. As we were about to get into the truck to find him, his car came rushing towards us. He got out and told us to head towards a cabin where some extra weapons were kept for the police force up in the woods about 8 miles from here. As we were in the car I told Jacob "we have to go get Claudia!!" (my girlfriend). We were going 50mph around every corner we turned. The paratroopers weren't too far from the ground...we were running out of time. We were a block away, when one of the paratroopers started rapid firing at us. Luckily he was low enough to the ground where we could hit him with the truck. When I saw Claudia's house she was already handcuffed by the invaders, when I finally got a close up they looked like they were from some Asian based country. I yelled out at Claudia but the soldiers quickly turned around and started firing right at us. Josh and Michael were hiding behind the side Claudia's house. I yelled for them to get into the back of the truck. Michael barely got in before we sped off to the cabin. When we got there, we went straight to the weapon storage out back. There was enough weapons and ammunition for a whole army. But we all agreed to start packing all of it because it was only a matter of time before the invaders discovered the cabin. There was an old tv in the living room of the cabin, we tried to turn to every channel possible but there was nothing but static. We all started to look for some kind of communication device. We eventually found a radio but yet there was nothing but static. All of us agreed to stay for one night and everybody had to take watch every 2 hours. It was Josh's turn first. I woke up to the sound of a cracking bullet from outside. I rushed outside with a AK fully loaded and with my finger at the trigger. I saw that it was Claudia's car but I looked to see that it was her sister at the wheel Meghan ( Claudia's sister). When Jacob realized it was Meghan he quickly helped out of the car to see if the bullet had hit or scraped her side. Luckily no wound. All of us new the invaders heard the sound of the bullet. It was only a matter of time before they were here. We grabbed anything that could be used as a weapon. We gathered all of the guns and amunition that we packed. We also took all the food and water we could pack. We could here the roaring engines of a convoy. We sprinted as fast as we could to the edge of the woods. When we got to an empty river bed far enough out of sight, Jacob suddenly stopped us. He said "we have to turn back and see who these people are"

Dance

Excited but nervous at the same time was my emotions as i walked into my dance studio. The reason I was this way was because it was our first day back to dance after having the whole summer off. I had this feeling that it was going to be a great season. As we warmed up our teacher began showing us our routines and things we need to work on. Then we began learning the routine. By the end of the week we had the dance and was ready to compete in a few months. As we clean up our dance and get ready for the big day.
It was finally here the day we competed at the competition. Our first dance competiton we danced at was called Showstoppers. We went back stage and began to get ready for the big day full of nothing but dance. I started with my hair and then my makeup. As soon as we got done getting ready it was time to go on stage. I had this nervous feeling in my stomach, it was like butterflies flying around in my stomach. Weird right? Then I heard our name being called. We walked in stage. There was so many things going though my head at this time. Things like "we have to do great" or "we need to win this competiton." Then the music started an I knew that we were going to hit our routine. We walked off stage out of breath because we gave it our all but excited because we knew that we had the win.
It was awards time. It was time for us to see who won they started calling names. Soon it was fourth place.... Third place. They had not called our name. Second place.... First place winner is....? They called our name,  we had done it we had won it and was going to the dance nationals in myrtle beach. We were so happy and we thought it would be great to go out to eat to celebrate. We ate at Sojo's. It was really good. We had a great time.
The next dance practice we worked really hard because it was the week of nationals. I think it was one of our worst pratices ever. We were tired, sleepy, sloppy and we were just done. It was not the timing to have bad pratices. The next day. It was finally the day of the nationals. We were in myrtle beach and ready to perform. We began getting ready and soon it was time to get on stage. I was super nevous because of the bad practice the night before. They began calling our name and I started to get that butterfly in my stomach feeling again. It happens every time and I don't know why. Hahah but always we go in position and began dancing, we did awesome. We hit everything all inspite of that bad pratice. Soon it would be awards time. They called them fourth place..... Third place..... Second place..... First place they called our name. We had done it we won nationals. We were so excited and screaming. Then they brought out a huge metals and gave one to all of us. Then I got to thinking all those 9 almost 10 years of dance were worth it. It all lead up to this moment and it was really happening. It felt amazing. Dance is my passion and I plan to never stop doing it. I live to dance. This was just one of the great moment dance has brought into my life and there's way more. Dance is my life. (:

BEST FRIENDS

I had a best friend since the 3rd grade that is 6 years me and her has been friends that's a long time. We have had our ups and downs, lefts and rights but we get through it together. She is always their beside me and I will always protect her and she will always protect me cause that's what best friends do. We have had a lot of sleepovers and going to the mall and movies and to the skating ring but now we don't go their anymore it be 2 many little kids there and yeah I just can't do that. Ummm let's see what else best friends are the ones who never judge you tell you if something is not you or it's just plain ugly and will never ever still or get in your way of any relationship that is he number one rule in girl code NEVER EVER STEAL YOUR FRIENDS BOYFRIEND. For me I think that best friends are supposed to be supportive about your relationship and not destroy it cause she should know that you and him are happy and she should stand down . If you can't trust your best friend then she ain't your best friend she is a betrayed friend. Bets friends will always tell the truth if something happens they will never blame it on you and you should never blame it on them either. That is my story of my best friends.

Bullying

Over in the corner alone, forgotten but most of all bullied was a girl. She had blonde hair and blue eyes but her eyes were not blue they were black like she had been crying an her makeup was running. Her name was Hailey Williams. She gets bullied and misunderstood everyday of her life because of her cloths. Her family is not very wealthy and is doing the best they can to get thought. So therefore many days Hailey is forced to wear the same cloths. Many people say very rude comments like "Whats that smell maybe it's Hailey and that shirt." Or "ewwwww you were wearing that yesterday." One day it was so bad that people were saying kill yourselve or gets some new cloths. Hailey gets very emotionally and try's to hurt herself. She often tells herself "why does it have to be me?" One day I was tried of doing nothing but just watch it happen. So one day when she was being bullied by some kids in the lunchroom, I walked over and stood up for her. The people who bullied her at the table just stood up and walked off they didn't say anything. After that incident in the lunchroom,we soon became friends. We often talked  about things we had in common. One day I decided that it would be nice to go and shop all day and buy her a ton of new cloths and nice things. She was so happy and thankful for doing such a sweet thing. The next day we walked in to school together. Everyone was surprised at what they saw. She didn't get bullied. Everyone had an different presprictive on her because she was wearing something completely different. So you should never judge someone unless you know them. Soon many people realized how sweet and nice she was. So give people a chance, like Hailey, no one gave her a chance to show who she really was. Bullying should not be the option.

Kidnapped

The day started off great. I woke up on time to catch the bus, which never really happened. I stood alone that day no one was with me. Normally all my friends stand with me. I was a little stressed that day because professors from colleges were coming to interview us. I wasn't too scared though, I was ready for collage, I would finally be an "adult". I saw the bus drive up from a far distance. It was too far for anyone to see me, so I just waited. At that moment I felt someone grab my shoulder and yank me back. I tried to scream but I couldn't. Still to this day I don't know why  I didn't. I heard an old mans deep voice whisper " fight me and it will be worse than it will be" with those words I stayed still. I didn't want to think what that could mean. He pulled me foreword and put me in a big black van with tinted windows darker than night. There were no seats, like a van that someone with a home business would use. He slammed the  door shut and got in the passenger seat. The man driving hit the gas before the old man was even in all the way. I was thrown against the back of the van. By now he had me blind folded and tied up. I had no clue who they were or where we were going. A house maybe. Or some kind of abandoned building. I was terrified. I had never felt such fear before. Suddenly the van came to a slamming stop. The men got out and yanked me to into some kind of old building. I only knew that because the doors squeked and the floors creeked as we walked on. I felt them shove me into a closet the slammed the door and I heard them mummer something like "let's hurry and get the rest". I hunched my back and hugged me legs in fear. I was somewhat relived that I wouldn't be alone. I felt someone grab my wrist and start to untie me. I jumped from being startled and he whispered "it's ok I'm helping you, you will be ok". He finally got the knots undone and unblind folded me. I couldn't see his face it was far too dark. We sat in the dark silence not saying a thing. I didn't know what to say. It's not like I can bring up small talk. Finally he whispered.
"I've been here over 5 years. Everyone things I'm dead, so no one has tried to find me anymore."
It was quite a moment.
"I'm so sorry." I whispered
"Don't be I have been the only one to last this long and I want to help everyone who gets stuck in this hell hole to survive." He said clearly
"How many kids have been through here?" I asked
"So many I cannot count them anymore" he whimperd "they only last about a week or so. They end up getting killed or killing them selfes trying to get out."
"Do you think I will make it."
"Only if you don't do stupid crap and disobey them. You are the first one to talk. Ever."
The door yanked open. A little girl that looked to be 5 or 6 tumbled in. We hurried and untied her.
I hugged her like she was my own little sister. She cried and wept out of fear, screaming for her mother. We tried to calm her down nothing would work. I pulled her head to my shoulder and hugged her. I had never been so afraid before. I didn't cry though. I didn't want to scare the little girl anymore than she already was.
Her tears turned into sniffles and I asked "How old are you?"
"I'm 4" ,she whispered.
The young boy asked me how old I was.
Not wanting to be rude, I answered, " I'm 17"
Trying be polite, I asked him also. He answered, "I'm almost 17"
We told each other our names and talked about our lives before this happened. It was mostly me and zach. Ella didn't say anything, she was just too scared to say a word.
We didn't know what was going to happen. Over the years that zach had been there they just left him in there and fed him once a day. Were they going to enslave us? Sell us? What was next? Were more children going to get kidnaped too?
We heard the van pull up again. They were back with yet another. They slammed the closet door shut after they threw him in. He was 7. His name was Cameron. When I was 7 I was playing in my yard with all my friends, not being thrown in a closet fearing for my life.
We found out they were done taking kids, at least for today because they fed us and we could hear them lock the front door.
Not one of us slept that night. We didn't even close our eyes to rest them. We were too afraid. Horrible thoughts rushing threw our heads. Fear was an understatement.
We could see the light from the sun under the opening at the bottom of the door. It was the second day of our abduction. They opened the door and one at a time tied us up and put us in the black van. They did not blindfold us this time, I'm not sure why. I could see that the van had no lisance plate, which is odd because that would draw attention. Maybe they wanted attention. Maybe that is why people do such horrible things. Maybe they want to get caught. They must hate their lives and don't want to turn them selves in.
The van drove off. We drove for at least 20 minutes. About the same amount of time it took us to get to the house. They stoped. We heard doors creek open. The men didn't come back for about an hour. It was hot. They left us in there with the car off. The sweat poring off us. We stayed quit. We didn't know where we were. Did they leave us there to die?
Finally  after the first thirty minutes I said something.
 "We have to get out."
Cameron nodded.
"But how?" Zach asked sternly
"I don't know, but we have to." I said
I looked around for something to give me an idea on how to escape. I saw a knife. I wondered what idiot would  leave a knife in the back of a van with four kids in it? Oh that's right, kidnappers. I leaned for the knife, it was hard with out hands, but I just had this mind set of getting us out of here. I don't even know how I did it but I untied my self, and the others. The van doors were locked but I used all my might and pushed them open. We all jumped out and just ran. We didn't know where we were running to we just wanted to be away from there when they come out. Soon I saw a pay phone. I was shocked because you never see them anymore. I felt my pockets. Nothing. Ella felt in the pockets of her skirt. She jumped saying "mommy gave me a quarter so I could get ice cream!" She handed me the coin, I slid it in the coin slot, and dialed 911.
They sent two police men. One to the gas station and one to us. When we got there all of our parents were there. All but my father. I saw Ella leap into her parents arms. Home safe. I watched Cameron run to his mother and father. Home safe. Zach just stood there in the door way. Crying. His mother and sister ran to him. I saw my mom. she started crying before she even came over to me. She hugged me. My mom has never hugged me like that. She backed away from me, looked me in the eyes, and cried even harder. She said " your dad. He passed away last night. He. He was hit by a truck."
I cried. I had never cried so hard.

Me and my best friends

My friends are people who are true and honest to me meaning they're there when I need them. Always got my back in bad times. Having trust really has to do with friendship, when me and my bestfriends first met we really didn't even like each other but then at the end of the year we became closer and closer and now we have been friends for almost four years because we met in 6th grade. Having a best friend is really good because it's a person you can tell them anything and everything, they can tell you anything,be there for each other and stick together through thick and thin. When your are in bad times with school, family, personal issues they will be there to make you smile. My bestfriends are jada and alea they are amazing best friends, even though it's crazy sometimes because three of us and if one gets left out its a big deal. Having best friends are people who are true and honest to me meaning they're there when I need them.
